The story is long, (the summation...the photographer came with two batteries but her spare didn't hold a charge, and an xti/kit lens combo...and when her battery ran out, she asked to borrow my M3...she has been a second shooter at other weddings but never done her own...AND is a good friend of my daughters and it was important to my daughter that she photograph the wedding...since she wasn't a pro, she knew before hand that I'd be shooting as well, though from everything I've read here, I DID stay out of her way, did not shoot her shots and call them my own and only shot the people she wasn't shooting at the time & did not interfere with her posing)....did I do okay?

You did great, shame you weren't primary you'd have done even better I bet.

Beautiful shots and the last candid is just wonderful. I am sure you would have done better as the primary

Lisa - the only photo that I don't care for too much is the second to last. Something about the exposure with your daughters light complexion and the mountain in the background - just doesn't do it for me.

That said, I love your other photos.

I adore the last shot!

you should have seen it...it was like a fairy tale...the birds were just waiting to sit on her hand and eat...

Wow! The last one is fantastic and all the others are great as well. She looks a bit plastic in 5 but I still like it. I would kill to get that last shot though. I might have to train some birds........
