red tint with my canon 30D

it seems that no matter what i shoot i get a red tint in all my pictures. my faces have a red tint and no matter what i do to correct this with my camera setting, i still get it and have to adjust it with my photo software, was wondering if has the same problem?

Did you incorrectly set a custom white balance setting? Is the camera on Auto White Balance?

i use the expo disc for white balancing, i think i need to get another set of eyes to look at my pictures and see what they recommend,

one more thing, i have heard of people using gray card to help white balance. why would anyone use a gray card for white balancing?

Post a few examples here, and we'll see what we can see.

A grey card, like a white card, has no net colour, it is on the spectrum of black to white. The problem is that anything will look white if it is overexposed enough, so unless you are incredibly careful, or intentionally underexpose a white card image (making it grey), you may accidentally overexpose it, and no matter what colour it should have looked given the ambient light, it will look perfectly white.
(ummmm - someone else want to try - that seems as clear as mud to me)
