The copper pots themselves are the token, but normally some blessed sugared almonds, fruits, biscuits sweets, etc are also put inside... We call it "Prasad".
Anything, usually edible, that is first offered to a deity, saint, and then distributed in his or hername. The prasad has the deity's blessing residing within it.

2 bags Quaker Simple Harvest Multigrain vanilla, almond, and honey Oatmeal
1 PBnJ sandwich
10 clementines
1 banana
1 bag of pretzels
1 protein bar
1 this fig walks into a bar (big fig newton)
1 bottle of water
1 lunch sized serving of Pot Roast, Brussel Sprouts, and Potatoes.

That's about it.
