Where is everyone? Tom, Stu, Jim, Sue, Kathy?

Where'd ya all go, no one clocked you out yet?

Good Evening all. I just finished making Suzie's DVDs from the wedding at the Mormon Temple a week ago...we are both so busy that we can't find time to meet so I am droping them in the mail for her first thing in the morning. I ended up with 170 photos as my contribution to the couple. Got some great "keepers" for them.

My next shoot is not going to be fun...I am doing a military funeral at Arlington National Cemetery on Wednesday at 0900. I took a day of vacation to do this. There will be a reception hosted by the widow and the family afterwards. Tomorrow night is the viewing and I am covering that as well.

I need a wedding to cheer me up.

Good night to all...I'm off to bed...

I'll share my weekend wedding with you!

I've done a few funerals, hard, and personal. You'll do fine. I know that for sure.

It was okay. A little dry, but it tasted fine.

What happened?!?

Well, I stock at Target. What was suppose to be a simple short sweet day, getting off at 8 or 9 (I start at 330) ended up working till 11. Ok, so I got hours, but my fiancee has been on me about going to the beach and I said we'd go this Saturday and well, it dragged on. We went, missed the sun, but still had fun.

On the way home, smelt something burning. Wasn't sure what it was. As we continued, I noticed it was coming from my Jeep. I got out, look, smoke is just coming out of my rims. My brake was stuck. Awesome. So I drove it off an exit and parked it, found a place 2 miles, decided it be better than waiting 30mins or more for a tow. Took it there...awesome, no vehicle.

Well, yesterday before the wedding, I found out it'll be $700!!! UGH! What pissed me the most was that the guy said it like this.

"It'll be $63-82-3."

What? I know. $682.30 Man oh man. Well, having worked on cars and knowing people that can, I told them I'd have to see.

Moving on, I was so pissed I was afraid I'd couldn't concentrate on the wedding. I swear my name is living up to itself, Last Shot Photography, as this is my third wedding with less than a 2 week notice. So I didn't even know who the groom was and they asked me to be there before to take photos of everything. Well, I finally find him, you;d think the guy with a 7MDH and 20D with a flash and lens, you'd get someone to come up to you and ask, "Are you the photographer?" Well, everything ends up fine till after the ceremony.

Sun is setting and we're suppose to shoot in some gardens. There's this very annoying uncle yelling at me to keep taking quick photos of the family. Fine, I did. But people were leaving, he was talking, then more came, I finally told the bride and groom that we had to go shoot, 'cause it also was closing soon. Yeah, I have a pic of him yelling at me, "What are you doing? You take photos. Keep clicking! I'm paying for this." Which he wasn't and it caused us to rush taking the more formal portraits int he garden of the parents and wedding party, not some snobby uncle that owns a corner gyro shop.

Well, end of wedding comes, I'm expecting payment, and since I wasn't sure who to ask and where everyone was, my fiancee's friend went to find the uncle. I son follwed, but before I turned the corner I heard, "I'm not paying. I did not ask for him. I had someone else. Besides, the bride and groom should pay"

Yeah...well, I didn't like that, the groom agreed his uncle was a jerk, and the bride's dad, told me not to worry, I'll be paid by the weekend, which I trust him. But yeah, horrible weekend, and then today it was a very long hard day at work again. Stupid warehouse keeps lying on how much we're getting.

I was going to do my great grandfather's funeral, but I wasn't sure. It was a very weird and hard time.

But to cheer people up, this is my teaser shot from the wedding.

I am, I'm 1/4 through editing them in Lightroom then it's off to PS for the collages, crops, etc. I'm very pleased with them and can't wait to really get started on them.

Although I want to make the uncle fat or something ya know. Man I'm pissed, could have really had more time.

Good Morning All,

Busy day today at work today...just wanted to say hi.

I was playing with "creative cropping" last night and made this shot of the Bride's Mom capturing the B&G...what do you think?
