I wander in and out from time to time, and they always make me feel welcome. You're a lot friendlier looking than I am, so you will definitely be made to feel right at home.

Hi there Stephanie..... nice to meet you :D. You'll find that a lot of us wander in and out depending upon the demands of the day, our jobs, and level of boredom or confusion by technical issues. But it's a nice place and I'm sure you'll enjoy it. - Stu

And a tip-o-the-hat to you too Chris. Well, time to hit the road and change venues; got a prospective bride coming to see work in an hour and I've got to set up the displays.:D - Stu

Hi, Stephanie.

Stu, it's just business, you know. I used to take those things personally. I worked for a big company, but in a very strange way, as a pre-school director. The school started in the 1950's with a rich tradition and lots of support. Over the years, interest was still good, but the big company was sold and the new owners were not as generous. The little school became a terrible liability. I tried my best to make it into something wonderful, upgrading every part of the program. It was just getting good again when the insurance bill came and it was astronomical. The school was closed and I was left without a job, but my staff was let go too. I felt terrible. But I should not have taken it personally. It was business. If I had $10m I still would not have made enough money to make it worth it. But for companies who do have very high profits for the upper level and the little guy gets a pink slip, I find that totally wrong. And when I hear people who work for charities earn more than what the charities put out, I really feel like human nature is pretty sad.

I'll give you the same advice I think I gave Leesa.

Put the kids to work doing PP. They gotta pull their weight, don't they?

I've been working on some photos from bridal session i did on Saturday. My DH is out f town till Friday and my sister is staying with me. Me and the kiddos are going to mom's for dinner and at 9:45PM I've got to leave the babies w/ mom to go and take a quick shot for a charity event I'm doing. Its a dancing w/ the stars knockoff...local choreographers pair up w/ local cleberties...well they said 9:45 was a good time....

Me and a friend photog are teaming up for the event. I've just got to go take a 'headshot' type photo tonight when they practice. I'm nervous about the event! But I'm excited.
