Whooooooaaaaaahhhhh.... now that is some really wild stuff Jared!!;) That is certainly some talent you have there.

I gotta' say based on what we've seen here so far, that looks like part painting, part photo, part pen and ink drawing. Looks like something I'd expect to see in that mag "Heavy Metal." Pretty cool :D.

Yeah found some of these old photos that were a postcard, took them home and painted over them. This is my fave of the three Ive done, the others I kinda went overboard on the paint and you cant really even tell its an old photo. Either way Im wanting to find more. The art show is not this weekend but the next, i need to get more done.

Either way, I've gotta' say that you're pretty prolific with your work. You are certainly honing it and moving in a direction..... I'm not sure what that is, but at some point folks will definately be able to recognize your style; and that's a good thing, seriously.;)

I'll have to check them out then.... thanks :D.

Being the cheap S.O.B. that I am, I spent a lot of time up on MP3.com about 5 years ago when they were still free, downloading a lot of house, alternative, club, trance, world, eclectic stuff. It would help the work day go by, and also provided a great "beat" for working out on my treadmill. Then MP3.com went defunct as we knew it - too bad; a lot of great stuff there.

Now CNET.com has an area of free MP3 downloads. My brother gave me a Nano recently, so I've been loading up that little gizmo... takes up a lot less room then my old MP3/disk player :D. Truly amazing how much music you can stuff into something the size of a couple of tea bags.

Hmmmm..... I wonder if Tools has some of their material on CNET? I'll have to look tonight.

Who did your cards Lisa?

I used to have a commercial printer do mine with thermographed type, matching stationery and envelopes. When I updated by logo though I just started printing my own cards on my color printer; it's very convenient, on-demand but not at all cheap in the long run.

I still have come up with envelopes and stationery though....

Now, now - doctor's checkups are good for you ;). We are starting to get up there and it's important for them to periodically kick the tires, check the oil dip stick and verify the proper fluid levels. And besides, with all that good exercise you get and healthy eating, I'm sure you're fine :D.

Jared - you ever hear of Psycraft? I guess they'd be classified as sort of a Club genre, pretty fast beat...... equates to about 4 1/2 mph on the treadmill . They've got a lot of energy though and really pump out the volume.

Hi,

I am back from the military funeral at Arlington National Cemetery. It was well done from all aspects. I am so proud of the way the Army treats its fallen Soldiers. I made 400+ shots...will download and start to sort them out tonight. If not too late I'll post up a couple. I used the 5D and the 24-105MM EF L for the whole day. We walked to the grave site from the chapel...1.8 miles! I ran ahead of the procession about four times during the march to get photos of the whole procession in one frame...also I was trying to get the horses and caisson w/casket in one shot as well. From my LCD review I got some great shots...we shall see tonight.

Jim, all the shots were excellent you sent me. I am printing some out now. My cartridges are all full and ready to go. I've just got a lot going on and meetings tonight.

I hate waiting for packages to come in the mail.... irritates me when you order something and it hasn't come in when its suppose to. Anyway. I've got to get my 2yo dd ready for dance in about an hour, and then i've got church tonight. In the mean time, I'm working on some more pics of Erin and her bridals...

No never heard of them. Ill have to look them up.

I usually find songs through Limwire:D

Tool are just one of the bands that have a unique sound that I listen to. Sometimes it can be them, Disturbed, Godsmack, Avenged Sevenfold, A Static Lullaby, Emery, Tattooed Millionaires, or the occasional Beethoven.
