Here is a quick sample photo from the Military funeral I photographed at Arlington National Cemetery today.

Just spent some time walking around the house shooting some of the stuff that's blooming (and starting to bloom). This is what I came up with (straight out of the camera and taken without a tripod):

Jim, that's a wonderful image. I'm sure the family will treasure the images you took today.

Jim - a lovely image!

Well, my laptop is having fits. Started yesterday. Took off 38 GBs of stuff to see if that would help. Ran the disk cleanup and defrag. She's still slow as a slug and OE keeps crashing.

I was able to run Premiere Pro and make DVDs last night, but it was painfully slow to add titles LOL

My poor lappie only has 512 RAM (I know, what am I thinking!) - I really need to upgrade the RAM, but trying to figure out which type this Sony Vaio needs is a total pain in the butt and every time I try to figure it out I get frustrated and blow it off again!

That was a wonderful thing you did, Jim. I'm normally not a big fan of pageantry, but considering the sacrifice, we can't do enough for these brave young men

It's a fine photograph.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

Chris, Kristin, and Tom...thank you for the kind comments. Here is one more photo that shows the somber beauty of Arlington National Cemetery.

Hi Lisa!

I have been AWOL a lot too.

I am working on getting all last years seniors sorted through for web stuff and advertizing. If I would do it as I take them, I would not have this huge chore now.....but.....you know me.....The Queen of Procrastination :D

Hi Kathy,

My weddings are kicking in, so I need to get stuff done, uploading images right now to the website.

Then to calibrate, I had some pics come in a bit darker then shown. SO, I need to get that together.

I'm beat and cannot wait to go to bed tonight.

Kathy and Lisa...thank you for the kind feedback. It is such an honor to do this photography. My small way of giving back to those who have served our great Country. When I retire I am going to volunteer at Arlington as a pro bono photographer full time.

What an honor Jim. I agree with Tom, there is nothing too much we can do for those who served for this nation!

My husband will stop and thank men and woman for their service to this country, some have even cried when he has spoken to them.

Who did your cards Lisa?

I used to have a commercial printer do mine with thermographed type, matching stationery and envelopes. When I updated by logo though I just started printing my own cards on my color printer; it's very convenient, on-demand but not at all cheap in the long run.

I still have come up with envelopes and stationery though....

My girlfriend owns her own printing company, I finally asked her to design a couple....they are awesome. I ordered 1k, might as well have them around!

Now, now - doctor's checkups are good for you ;). We are starting to get up there and it's important for them to periodically kick the tires, check the oil dip stick and verify the proper fluid levels. And besides, with all that good exercise you get and healthy eating, I'm sure you're fine :D.

YIKES what ARE YOU saying LOL.... remind me to punch you when we get together LOL
