Hi Kathy, well

I'm leaving for the gym in a few.

Have to run to Target for a few things,

Need to get batteries because my weddings finally start up YES YES YES!!!

and I have yard work planned after I get these boys pics up from baseball last night.

I may wait until tonight to go to the stores, just because it does say it may rain here, so we will see..I LOVE Spring, it makes me feel alive again (is that a commercial?) LOL

You do a fantastic job, you have a real eye for the sentiment. That last photo really touched my heart, it's breathtaking!

Kathy...thanks, your comments are very encouraging to me...this type photography is very much like a wedding in many ways...you have to anticipate the various events as they come quickly, and you strive to capture the emotion of the event without being intrusive. I have some of the widow receiving the flag from Chaplain that really are heart wrenching...I can't post those here as I feel that they are just too personal.

Hi Jim - that shot of the receding caisson(?) is really beautiful. I love the way you captured the contrast of the grave stones going up the shaded hill with the brighter foreground. Again, you've managed a terrific 3-D effect.

Stu...thank you for the kind feedback...it is really appreciated. That is my favorite shot so far. I plan to print this as an 8x10 and frame it for the family. I have many more files to review/edit before I make my final selection. My plan is to give the widow a leather album of 50+ 5x7's and the family DVD's for all who want a copy.

Stu,

It is fun to put a "real" face to the name....and, you do look like your avatar:)

Do be careful...we don't need you donating any finger tips to the cause ;)

Well actually, I hear the avatar has better luck with the ladies than I do.... no wonder he looks so tired when I see him first thing in the morning . That was quite a talented artist who was working that night. And I do try to be careful with the blood and organ donor program.

Morning, everyone.

Stu, you're a hero. I bought all the matting equipment/supplies, and it turned out to be an unqualified failure. I watched the video, read the instructions, watched the video again (I'm really good at television), and nothing. I ruined a whole lot of mat boards, and decided to hide the whole mess behind the closet door to try again on another day.

Lisa......

You seem to be spending a lot of time at they gym. Do you have a 'personal' trainer?

Kid....

I'm not sure there's a connection, but ever since you started posting your artwork here, I've been having bad dreams. It all started with Buster Monkeybutt, or whatever his name was.;):lol:

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

I hide all my materials and the cutter under my daughter's bed since I'm short on storage. I don't think my wife has discovered the cache yet, so I'm actually more stealthy than heroic.

The last time I'd done any mat cutting was for an exhibit last Fall, and you'd think I'd gotten brain dead. You know what they say about measure twice, cut once? How about triple check what you thought you measured.....

Good mid-day, everyone. Is it Friday yet?

It's another gorgeous spring day in Michigan and I'm stuck in the lab playing with DNA.

I'm going to start bringing my camera to work now just so I can take some time during lunch to go play in the botanical gardens here.

I have a wedding this weekend and a portrait session as well.

Hello there Chris - good morning to you :D. I'm just a little bit south of you in Cleveland stuck on a conference call talking about head count reduction....my favorite subject -.

I did bring my camera with me to work, but got too late of a start to capture any of that nice magical morning light and get to work on time. Hmmmmm.... maybe something on the way home..... perhaps a quick detour through the industrial area.....

Sounds like you have some nice botanical gardens Chris :D.

Hey all

Today I'm taking the girls to see my grandma and their cousin so they can play. But when I get home I've got a lot of work to do.

I have to work on the adjustments for an engagment order
Order my sister's Senoir pics for my mom
Continue working on the Bridal session!

Tomorrow I'll be doing a lot of laundry, cleaning and such because dh comes home and i want the house top notch.

I LOVED the cemetary photos. They were awesome.

I have a few that would love to personally train me, but I do it on my own. My daughter(body guard, she gives looks that could kill) (who is getting lazy) goes with me, but Saturday I have a guy whose going to work with me, he's built like unreal and I am very sure going to be a challange. Then I will come home and get ready for my wedding!!!

I go every day except Sunday (rest day) but now I run in the park at night also, or run my neighborhood

I guess I'm a bit too into it, but it sure is not a bad thing to be into to.
