Well Chris, we have our fingers crossed for the ceremony, which will be outdoors in a gorgeous island garden area on July 19. Hopefully the weather will cooperate.;)

I wish!:D

At this point I would be happy to go anywhere. I did sign up to be a chaperone for the high school bird clubs annual trip to our coast. Now if enough kids will just sign up to go so they will need me!:)

It's seniors and they are pretty tame. Bird club is kind of like the ever made fun of Chess Club.:) And there are only about 12 of them.

My first offical wedding of the season is May 19th. Its my first year of weddings and I have one May 24th and July 12th. I shot one in January this past year, and my very first wedding was Mar 2006. I've got a lot to learn, and I'm having to rent some equipment, but Its going to be a blast.

But before I start, let me show you what I spotted on the way to work yesterday. The temperature has been just perfectly cool in the morning, and all the blossoms are at their peak. This is the Cleveland Museum of Art with Wade Lagoon in front of it, in our University Circle area. It is about 5 miles from downtown:

Stu,

Just simply beautiful. You are the master of blue skies :) The scene is so restful looking it could put one to sleep :)

Good Morning everyone.

I am interviewing two more potential new hires today...life is good and we have more work then we can keep up with.

Tomorrow I am going to the Alexandria, VA Marina to test the 5D and 24-70MM f/2.8 EF L combo. I am doing a Lacrosse gig Monday night for my friends at Fort Myer...their son is the goalie. I am going to try my 85MM on one camera and my 135MM on the other. Maybe bring the 50M f/1.4 as well.

I hope you all have a wonderful day :D

The 24-70L is a fantastic lens on a full-frame body. That's my 'default' lens on the 1Ds Mk II. I also have the 24-105, and it lives on the 1D Mk III for some unexplained reason. Logic would suggest I'd want the slightly longer reach on the 1Ds, but I don't, probably because I can crop.

Hope you have a wonderful day, too, Stu.
