I'll be so glad when I can leave work today. This weekend should be a lot of fun. Plus, I just found out from my photog that our album is ready so my wife and I will get that tomorrow, too!

Um, does anyone know any photographer that takes digital images and does NOT photoshop?

Now that you mention it........

Hard to know if people like that are cynical by nature, or just naive.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

It will be fun, we never found something to shoot Chris, so I think we will just enjoy sharing images on the forum!!!

I had a best friend say something similar, I just smiled and walked away, let them learn on their own, mine did. :D

I'm hoping it will have something on the web so I can blog about it this weekend.

I've not looked yet.

It was a state race, I thought it was sad no one stopped also...

when her leg snapped I thought I was going to puke. I've NEVER seen anything like that...and she crawled to the finish...

I can't wait to watch the story...

Suzie,

Thank you...I am going to the local ball field tonight at 7PM and test fire a few shots...I may come knocking on your door afterwards. It is very generous of you to offer.

At the Wednesday funeral I ran into some serious sun flare...I was shooting directly into the sun at 0930. I am saving the shots but with some intense PP to make them look right. I wonder how the 24-70MM would have handled that challenge? Also, do you think a ND filter might of helped?

Well, the 24-70's got a seriously effective hood at all focal lengths, unlike most zooms (that reverse zoom action, y'know). ND probably not. But if the sun's in the frame nothing will help. All you can do is clean everything beyond spotless and hope for the best.

Was that the Lt. Col.'s funeral they had in the Washington Post BTW?

Good morning, All!

Another morning in the office for me, then on to rearranging my office again as I'm being overrun by cords, hard drives, lenses, paper...the usual junk!

Good morning to you, Kristin. Looking like my Friday night is taking care of my sick little guy. He's not been able to keep anything down for 2 days now. He's pretty wobbly in the knees.

Other than that, my hubby got me pizza and a steak & cheese sub for dinner and I'm sick of eating because I had Five Guys for lunch at 2. But I'm not complaining, just ate too much. :) Life's okay today. I finished the wedding pictures round 1. Now for the groom's parents.

Awww, that's no good! Hope he feels better soon!

LOL on the food, I can relate...when it's good, it's good!

I just got back from the grocery store and our fruit is dismal right now :( Managed to get some grapes and I'm going to try a pear...it didn't feel just right, but maybe I'll get lucky. I can't believe the crap we get in sometimes.

Dude - Jared..... really creeping me out BIG time now. You're not on any heavy duty medications by any chance are you? Nice detail work on teeth set off against the black lips. Those eyes are really effective WITHOUT any pupils - scarier that way. But seriously, this friendly looking fellow reminds me of something.....
