Well time for me to go cook breakfast, our big Saturday meal! If we eat breakfast, we seem to not have to stop and eat until dinner time. I have a lot to get accomplished today so I will most likely not be on again until tonight.

Have a great day everyone and good luck to those of you that are shooting today!

Lisa,

Super...can't wait to see some images.

I spent the day PP my photos from Wednesday's funeral. This evening I took the 5D for a spin with the 24-70MM f/2.8 EF L...sharp results but bad weather drove me back indoors...maybe tomorrow I can try again.

So since i'm new in here, can everyone tell me a bit about themselves?

In a nutshell...I'm a 25 year old sahm/w of a 2 year old daughter and a 9 month old daughter. Been married almost 7 years. Been taking photos with a 'old flim rebel' camera since 2003, and with my 30D since 2006. I got a canon powershot some time between that. I'm a digital scrapbooker and have been published twice. I just got CS3, have used elemnts for about 3 years before that.

Been taking photos forever. My dad did a lot of amature nature and crime scene photography. So i guess i got that from him. I did my first wedding in 06..when my dd was 5weeks old and i had my gall bladder surgery 3 days before...but whatever. Did my 2nd in january. Have done two bridals and two engagements this year. Everyone has seemed happy so far....

Yes, you beat me. I didn't actually see to much heinousness at this wedding.

We got back a little while ago. Was a great wedding; bride and groom were a lot of fun and no real problems encountered. I'm going to try and get a first glance at most of the images tonight. especially since I have a family shoot tomorrow. Whee!

I was able to play with a 70-200 f/2.8L IS today. Damnit. Damnit. Damnit. Such a nice lens. I'm getting my photogs 20D in the next few weeks, and that will make my life so much easier. Switching lenses SUCKS.

Thanks everyone!

I guess instead of "break a leg," we should say "break a CF card?" If one was superstitious, that is.

I'm packed and ready. It looks like today isn't going to be very nice outside. We've got 20-30mph wind coming along. I'm leaving at 11 to get there by 1 (including stopping for lunch).

just saw this...ha ha
you could say..break a lens!

I'm 47, mom of 4 grown children, 2 of my own, 2 step.

I have a wonderful 9 month old granddaughter.

I'm married to husband #2, just had our 12 year anniversary.

I also have been taking photos forever, like almost 30 years, also father inspired, he did scenery and people for magazine ads.

I have made a very nice career of photography:).

I am a middle school teacher on year #25.

I started out with Elements, progressed to Lightroom and CS3.

I can work my programs, but am dumb as a rock on most other computer related things.

I have done too many weddings to count.

My main photography is portraits.....seniors, famlies, children, sports.

I'm very friendly and not afraid to admit that there is a LOT I don't know yet.
