Good idea. I'm going to go to craigslist and advertise $50 to shoot a wedding so I can join DWF. Ah well.... I'll hang with the other noobs and wannabes over here.

I'll check in here sometimes ... but Amanda, you can join the start section for free at DWF. I lurk over there often, don't think I'm ready for pro.

I'm not leaving...I don't get the mindset of if things don't go my way on a forum that I leave. I'd have to be extremely badly treated in total, not just in one area, I think

And I like it here for the most part!!

I wouldn't leave this forum completely, either, but I really enjoy the People section for ideas and help from other members, and other sections for general perusing. It will be unfortunate if some of the great talent from this board is gone. It will be so much more work to have to look for inspiration and ideas elsewhere

I think it's detrimental to the forum that Banbert has left completely. Shame someone couldn't have talked to him and tried to get him to stay - I very much enjoyed his photos and his advice. We'll all be poorer for it.

I'm not going to leave POTN, I don't think. In general, it's fun here. But I will probably spend more time at DWF from now on. Banbert's banning (caused directly or indirectly by, let's say, "uncreative thinking") is the straw that broke my back (so to speak).

I'm a DWF pro member, but I've always hung out here because I just don't get that community feel over there. Seems the people are less chummy. sigh....
