Well thats pretty unfortunate from a consumer/support standpoint. Especially when their motto is "Fully editable flash websites for the creative professional"

But I guess if you are aware of this fact from the beginning then its not an issue :)

Right, but you buy it knowing you cannot change the layout of the site...it's very clear.

Brian, I really like your site. It loads very fast on my computer, which isn't DSL, but also isn't dial up, it's somewhere in between...

Anyway, I agree that your strongest images should be first.

Also, I have a blu template similar to yours, and I have the ability to just load one image on for the homepage, which automatically turns off the slideshow. I happen to like your slideshow, but just thought I would share this information in case you decide that one "WOW" image is enough :-)

A few comments... which I think others have made.

Splash page at the start... get rid of it. Since the only options are your web page or your blog... and you have your blog linked from your web page, I don't see the reason for a splash page. When people click a link to your web page, they want to go to your web page... not have to make another decision about where they want to go.

Pages 2,3,4, etc and scrolling. I noticed atleast one section that had multiple pages and some of those pages also had text that you had to scroll through. I'd stick with one or the other; let them scroll only or let them click through pages and not have to scroll. For this type of site, I like spreading the info out on pages.

Your photo. I think the one you currently have is great for a forum/facebook/myspace... but not so much for a professional site.

Use your About page to sell yourself. Use the rest of the site to sell your photography/service.

Damnit! Good call.

Although, spelt that way, it looks closer to "Brain", which makes me happy. LOL

I really like it. Loading fast enough for me, but I am on a T1. I agree with loosing the first splash page. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get your template from. I have been looking around for a similiar style. I really like the slideshow/music theme, not many local photographers in my area are using this. All in all the site looks awesome. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the feedback.

Like I said above, I need the splash page for my sports photography site (see it now at www.mimphoto.com (external link)).

The template was purchased from www.bludomain.com (external link)

Cheers
