As some of you may know, Penn Camera bought out Cooper's Camera Mart a year or so ago, and the Camera Mart name stayed. But now they have moved out of Hamilton, and moved the store to Pikesville, next to Trader Joe's. It should come as no surprise that the new store as well as the one in Greenspring Station are now Penn Camera stores.
I'll miss Cooper's, but I like Penn Camera as well. I have bought at Laurel and rented equipment from the E Street store. They seem to be trying to make it against the Internet.
OBTW, I understand that they will be dealing used equipment in Pikesville, and they might be doing rentals as well once they get under way.
Hamilton is closed, and Pikesville is scheduled to open on Tuesday, 11/6/07.
