Another one of these which one to buy threads...

Like everyone else, I'm debating which camera I should get, xti,20d,30d. This is going to be my first dslr but I've used an slr camera before. Should I get a used or a new?

I have a cheap lens ef 28-90mm from my slr, but the 18-55mm kit lens looks nice. My budget will probably be around $1000 but I want to get the sigma 70-300 apo as well.

30d body for $700 doesn't seem that bad. ebay has xti bodys for about $500, amazon has a new body for about $580. I'm so confused as to what I should do.

30D (body only)
Tamron 17-50
Sigma 70-300
50mm 1.8

That would be a good place to start.

That Sigma 70-300 APO may not work on any of those bodies you mentioned. Be careful.
