What's the difference between the 20D and the 20Da?

AA filter, for astronomical photography, introduced in early 2005. It is/was very expensive - did Canon even announce a price as it says "Price: open" on the website? - compared to a standard 20D. I think it was only officially available in Japan.

The only reason I asked was because the Canon support page has it listed in their software updates page. I had never heard of the 'a' version before. A very limited number of the 20Das were made and finding one now is quite difficult.
