Sorry I've been on my ass and forgot about sharing the preset. I'm about to hit the sack, but I'll try to type it all out tomorrow. Basically, the preset I used is based on a preset I named "burning daylight" which is based off a preset I named "300", which is based off one of the LR default presets "Aged Photo" A lot of desaturated and tone curve adjustments, as well as heavy shadow manipulation for starters.

Ed, are you using LR for all of your conversions now? Any PS at all? I am having a hard time adjusting to LR, I keep going back to CS2 and CS3 ( not comfortable with this either :))
