#4 the grooms cake out of foucus is too distracting for their beautiful wedding cake.

Otherwise, nice.

The photos were nice but since there are only two attached images per thread allowed I deleted the the rest of your posts.
You may wish to consider a hosting service so that you can embed up to eight photos per thread and link to as many as you want.

Bless the recently fallen and their family and friends.

actually, and ironically, bridal wedding cakes are dime a dozen...it's the groom's cakes that are always unique and interesting to photograph. the bride's cake is always the same...regardless of the bakers attempt to be unique, lol.

FYI - most of these taken with that sigma 30mm 1.4 lens...makes it nice on post-processing...very little to do, they come out perfectly.

# 1 and 2 : The two first detail shots are nice, but they seem a bit out of context, I would have tried to have both "tubes" in the same picture.
#4 and 5 : I am not fond of having the groom's cake blurred in the foreground, but I love the picture where the groom's cake is in focus. What a cool cake!
# 6 : Nice image
# 7 : I don't see how this image is related to the wedding. It's a nice shot for sure, but I would not give it to the client, unless they had a theme involving bugs or grasshoppers.

Great job in general :)

thanks, but...like i said, not the hired photographer, but when i am, they dont get 70% of the photos anyway...we take over 2,000, and i'm ultra picky of what a "good photo" is, and only give them a printed DVD with 300 photos and proofbook.

anyway for this one we were hired for video only, so i tend to shoot more phtoos of whatever i want, since they arent expecting photos from me and will never see 90% of them...only put a couple in for the case and a few in the video.

p.s. - i did take shots of the tubes together as well, but i have to say, i like someone looking at my photos and sometimes saying "that's cool but what is that?"
