Returned/Sold:
Canon 24-105mm f/4L IS
Canon 180mm f/3.5L Macro
Canon 18-55mm Kit Lens
Canon 28-135mm IS Kit Lens

The two kit lenses I sold for obvious reasons, the two L lenses were returned because I found other lenses to be better for my needs.

Returned to supplier:
Sigma 28-300 - reason: bought for a trip, but it was way too soft.
Canon 400 f/5.6 - reason: decided to go with the 100-400 after trying both lenses.

Sold:
Kit lens 18-55 - reason: never used it after getting the Sigma 18-50.
Sigma 18-50 - reason: never used it after getting the 17-55IS.
Sigma 50-150 - reason: bought a Canon 70-200.
Sigma 80-400 - reason: bought a Canon 100-400.
Canon 70-200 - reason: rarely used it after getting the 100-400.

Canon 7D, 5D, 35L, 50 f/1.4, 85 f/1.8, 135L, 200L, 10-22, 17-55, 70-300, 100-400L, 500D, 580EX(2).

Traded In:
- 18-55 "kit" (never used..may as well get a little for it...)
- 10-22 EF-S (was never really happy with the images I got from it...)

Used the above proceeds against a 100 f/2.8 Macro and a 17-40 f/4L

I sold my 70-200MM f/4 EF L to a fellow POTNer and upgraded to the f/4 IS version.

I gave my dRebel XT (older one) to my daughter along with the kit lens and the 28-105MM f/3.5-4.5 EF.

Jim -- I keep the Leica D-Lux 7 in the Glove Box just in case!

So I see a lot of people got the 50mm f1.4 but ended up selling it. Is it a bad lens?? I was thinking of picking one up.

By the way, I just started so I haven't sold any lenses yet...although I am looking for a buyer for my stock lens that came in the box :)

I don't think it's a bad lens, I think people buy one, use it for a while and realize they don't use in enough to justify keeping it, then sell it off to help fund something else.
