I really really want to get a new printer that is capable of printing panoramic images. Both seem to be able to do so, except the epson will print upto 44" long.

Are there any things I should look for interms of quality, best printing and such?

Also can you still print regular MS word documents, wesite pages, etc?

anyone? :(

There are the reviews on B&H's website too you can check out if you can't get a definitive consensus here.

I use an HP DJ1220 older model that does up to 13x19 with a basic 2 cartridge ink system that gives me very good quality color and B&W prints on Canon photo paper and the ink replacements are inexpensive and infrequent. The current model from them, also available from B&H seems to be this one:

I know a lot of folks might prefer the accuracy of multiple ink tank printers and I am sure they have benefits to them for those that have an above average critical eye but if ink cartridge replacement costs are important to you, you may want to look at what costs you are facing there as this normally is where the true price of these printers reveal themselves.

Cheers! :)
