Very nice pictures Mark, looks like you had a great weekend. I would guess the best part was watching Clemson win :).

Excellent work, Mark -- three differents sports in one weekend and harsh light for the football and soccer games. Nice colors, good exposures and great action. I think you had more fun than I did but I don't have a ton of images to post process ;). I kicked back and watched a couple football games on TV today -- much needed rest after scrubbing the patio and pool deck the past three days.

Nice shots! I especially like the 2nd soccer one - looks like he's about to get a spike in his face!

Thanks all....

as to lenses, volleyball were 70-200 and 17-40, football was a sigma 120-300, american football... believe it or not a 70-200 with a 2x tc... don't ask why... it's embarrassing.

Here are a couple more soccer shots.

Loving this set Mark. The last pic is the pick of the bunch for me - great timing and a solid exposure in harsh light.

Stellar soccer shots Mark. I did notice that a couple aren't as "plumb" as I prefer, but honestly, with the timing and action you've captured, I'd love them if they were upside down!

Regards,
Jeff

Dwight.... I had a feeling you would lean that way. It's almost funny but when I shoot VB, I find myself thinking from time to time that "dwight would appreciate that shot".

Thanks everyone else for your comments. Much appreciated. I have absolutely come to love shooting soccer. Still much more to learn, but its fun practicing.

Aw, you're gonna' bring a tear to my eye, Mark. But I am guilty of being, "A lover, not a fighter", and I really enjoy your images of the girls ... if enjoying them more than the men is sexist, so be it! I'm just happy you are still shooting the team and getting better and better in the process.
