My Island

here is a shot i took of the island in Maine that my parents own. shot with my Digital Rebel XT and 18-55 kit lens, while crouching on the mainland. was pretty much fooling around trying to get a different perspective. C&C appreciated

Ah, to say you own an island. Pretty cool. Looks like a fun area to grow up and hang out. As for the photo, seems a bit soft, and could also use some level adjustments, but this framing could turn out quite nicely. You're definitely on the right track.

perspective is ok- early evening or morning sun directly lighting the island would be nice.

The picture is great. Though not directly evident that this is actualy an island.

Yeah, it is pretty cool up there, I've found hundreds of golf balls in the water because people keep hitting them out. I find them and give them back I only did some minor tweeks to bring out the color of the grass.

Thanks, I see what you mean but unfortunately it has the habit of blending in with the far shore
