Hi guys,

Just a quickie,

I'm looking at introducing a client area with a link from my site to an area whre clients can view their proof images. I'm looking at hosting approx 800+ images from each event on line.

I have and can arrange more disk space on my site.

Anyone know of any free setups where and how I can do this.

Also, do you guys know if there is any way that clients can make a selection on line, which in turn emails me their selection?

much appreciated people :0)

I used a bludomain.com website template, and their sites do exactly what you're looking for.

Check out any of their templates, and use "Bludomain" as the password.

You have to go to one of their websites.

For example:

http://www.blutemplates.com/photo28/# (external link)

Click "Flash" then click "Clients" then type in "bludomain" for the password.

Love the sites with the blowout transitions.

Just saw your site too. REALLY good work there Bryan.

Do these sites allow clients to email the selected image numbers? Also how many images can you have in the cient area?

Many thanks for your help Bryan.

Some sites have a shopping cart feature, and you can set up any package/items you want. So, for example, you could set up a "Favorite" item. Where the client "Adds to Favorites" (which means add to cart) and then in the cart, they can choose "Add to Favorites", or any print sizes/orders, and then check out. Upon checkout, it will email both you and the client what their order was.

Regarding the # of photos in a gallery - I don't think there is a limit. If there is, it is astronomically large.

Imagequix is what I use to do online proofing and photo ordering. It does cost upload credits when you post images but depending on amount of images will dictate how many credit it will take.
1-30 images = 1 credit
31-100 images = 2 credits
unlimited images = 3 credits
credits cost 4.95 if you buy them individually but get cheaper when you buy in bulk.

My wedding workflow outlines tools I use - currently EOS Template but if I was doing it now I would use this (external link) instead. I host it on my website and do all the printing and ordering myself.

I use PickPic (external link).

It's the absolute best solution out there, imo.

Over a thousand bucks seems a little steep though. What makes them so great?

I've just bought that and am in the middle of migrating all my galleries over to it.

When I say all my galleries, I mean, about 8.
