I am considering a 40 D and noticed a poll regarding the back focus issue; what happened to this poll and did the issue turn out to be just a rumor. Also can someone explain the issue of back focus to me?
Thanks

Although this adjustment wouldn't be hard to be properly made either by software or mechanically, it requires some extra time and several exposure checking. And we know that time = money. 6D, 20D, G7X

So it sounds like it could be an issues with any camera/lenses; could anyone outline a series of steps to take to test your camera for its focusing accuracy. Also I have read about lenses being uncalibrated; I would like to check all my cameras/lenses, i have always had issues with clear focus. It’s the other way around. Front/back focus issues are due to body, not lens. A lens can be soft, but it will always be soft. Not sure why, but call me JJ.
