I recently went online and ordered a battery grip for my EOS D30 (not 30D). I ordered the Canon BG-E2N and later found out that this model doen't fit the D30 and that I need to find the BG-E2 (minus the 'N').

Does anyone know where I can find a Canon BG-E2 Battery Grip? I've been searching the Net and I only see the battery grip for the 30D.

Canon told me they still make them and I could buy one, but their own website doesn't even sell it.

I've checked E-Bay and Amazon but with no luck. I've Googled it and it only gives me options for the 30D and the BG-E2N.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I think it's actually the BG-ED3 you want, if you're looking that old. Try eBay.

Wow. I didn't think my camera was THAT old. But even the guy at Canon mentioned it as being old. I tried Ebay but didn't have any immediate luck. I'll look for the BG-ED3 that you mentioned and check the specs.

Age is relative.
Compared to most members here your camera is very young, compared to other DSRL's its about as old as most members here.

*puts on walking frame proof suit*

So long and thanks for all the flash

You need a BG-ED3, which also fits the D60 and 10D.

Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here (external link). Cursing at your worse-than-a-map reflector? Check out this vid! (external link)

You should be able to find one used for less than $125 + shipping.
