Anyone using these cards? Any problems? Benefits? Is it faster than other cards?

Not faster in the camera, but if you have the right kind of reader, it will be faster to the computer. Cameras are not set up to do UDMA transfers. It may work as a standard card, close to the speeds of the Extreme series.

I will be purchasing these cards and reader in the spring only for the increased speed of transfer to my computer for on location shooting.

They are fairly new so you might not get too many reviews.

I just ordered one of these with a fre card reader (warehouse express) - have to wait and see if i can find a spare usb port now.. :)

I bought the Lexar UDMA 8gb card today at B&H. I already have the Sandisk Extreme Firewire 800 reader.

With the 1DsMKIII, I've not been happy waiting for the lcd to display the pic. It takes upwards of two seconds. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm hoping that what I've read (that it will write a 21mp image as quickly as the Mark III writes a 10mp) is true. I'll report tomorrow.
