I have read most of the Lightroom threads, but have not seen an answer to this question.

The 30D camera calibration is available here (actually there are several):

My question is: will the 30D calibration be the same for my 20D? I thought they had the same sensor.

I don't have a 20D, I don't know what kind of presets are out there, but it wouldn't hurt to try the 30D ones -- you can always undo and try another.
