I shot a wedding in DR last week. I'd like to know what you guys think of the some of these images. I think I have a well balanced idea of how I did but it's always nice to get a fresh unbiased opinion. :D

1. Nice idea but doesnt really do anything for me I am afraid, the in focus eye in the mirror is too small to be meaningful so I am left looking at a shot of someones back thats in focus.

2. Nice image, but I would try and crop the lamp and the upright out of it to leave the bride as the only focus.

3. I usually really like these type shots and I try and get them myself and I know how hard it is but it feels a bit posed due to how they are holding the camera, was it ?

4. I like the composition, not sure of the B&W conversion and I would remove the white hot spot from the middle of the pic as its a bit distracting.

5. I really like, nice capture.

6. Sorry but it looks like a behind the scenes shot of the group photo, needs to be much tighter a less cluttered imo.

7. Nice candid

Looks like a great location for a wedding I bet you had a blast eh !

Nick, though I am in no way a professional wedding photog, I thought I would throw in my 2 cents.

#1- I really like the idea, and overall I thinks its a great shot, the towell rack is rather distracting.
#2- Love this one, though you might want to crop it as to get rid of the lamp and water bottle.
#3-Sweet
#4- Nice shot, but the moon/light under her chin takes away from the overall effect.
#5- Great photo, possible get rid of her stray hairs.
#6- The wedding party sems kind of lost to me personally, maybe a crop?
#7- Adorable.

Overall, I think you did a really nice job, and i'm sure they will be very happy....

What a beautiful and fantastic location for the wedding!!! Here are my thoughts....

1. The picture is kind of distracting to me. Maybe if you spotlight the part that is in focus.
2. I would crop in more because the lamp and water bottle is distracting.
3. I like this shot alot.
4. Nice
5. My favorite of the set. Just beautiful and I love the colors.
6. Not doing anything for me. One of the members looks like they have an arm above the eye to shield the eye from the sun. Others are looking elsewhere. Maybe if they were all looking up and smiling....
7. Cute!

Well I'm a moron! Sorry for the double post!!! what a mess I've made!

Thank you very much for the critiques! you have articulated much of the things I have felt but haven't been able to "put a finger on", if you know what I mean.
