Taken on a recent camping trip in northern Ontario with my Rebel xt and EF70-300 IS @260mm from about 6 feet back.

Looks a bit soft. I like the concept but that OOF piece of wood right in the middle foreground is detracting from the embers. Just a thought.

Ditto - couldn't you have just stuck your hand in there and removed the distraction? ;)

Slightly sharper at the edges of the wood and it's a cracking shot. Well done.
