So Ive decided what the hell, lets add some more weight to my 5D. Id like to get the Canon BG E4 and a couple of new batteries from Sterlintek. I remember reading there are 2 places to buy the Sterlintek batteries with one being cheaper (just cant remember which one).
But who has the best price on the Canon battery grip? any discounts available on this product?

Canon 5D Mark IV & BG-E20

I thought about a grip for my 5D but I felt it was weighty enough as it is, of course having to get a larger bag was also another factor :p

The grip is very nice though, made from magnesium alloy the same as the body, very classy! as for batteries I would go with whatever is the cheapest, ive never had any problems with cheapo batteries.

I only use the grip to balance the weight of my 70-200 2.8L IS. I was using the 1D2N for quite a while and was so used to having a built-in grip on the body. Makes the 5D look more "professional" too, but nowadays I prefer not to use the grip if I don't have to. It's a great accessory nonetheless. BTW, I order mine direct from the web site... http://sterlingtek.com …Oev89-1yY8CFQOCZAods3fe-Q (external link)

I agree about the more professional look it gives, but I like to not draw too much attention when im out, although I got some attention & glances when I got my 5D out of the bag on the last shoot I did alongside other photographers who were using shall we say lesser DSLR's ;-)a damn everyones looking at me all of a sudden, im quite a shy person too :o, it was quite strange..
