I took a couple of pictures with the 40D so I could mess around with them in Photoshop. As you can see I tried a couple effects. I’m still learning a lot by toying around like this though.

Can someone give me some advice on these pics? What would you do different. Are they ok or do they look like crap.

I like them, I think it is a bit hard to give advice on 'shopped pictures.
I like the first one a lot.

cant you find anything better to photograph ? is this the only thing you have tried your camera on?

No I have some other pictures floating around this forum. Not many though. Ok ducks shots within the next week or two.

I like the industrial look. Number 2 is my favorite. Color give a lot of character to that gauge but I would crop it differently. Perhaps as just the upper half of the third shot...but in color.

You could try posting down in the forums for posting images on this site as well...usually you will get some more constructive comments than when you post in the Camera Body forum.
