Hello everyone, I went to Dubrovnik (Croatia) the other day, it is a big tourist place in my area, there is a cruiser or two there at all times. I noticed the tourists that came from those cruisers had a bunch of 40d already all covered with stickers of the Cruiser company. I wonder how come they got them on the run that fast? What do they do with them after a while? Do they offer them on an auction? Another note, most of them RED rings around their lenses :o??

I am not young enough to know everything. O.W.

The 40D has been out for quite a few weeks and it would be relatively easy to put them into service. Like any large company, there's probably a person managing this equipment and already had a refresh plan for their DSLR's and a capital approval in place before they even hit the market.

The red ring around the lens is an indication that it's L glass.
