IMHO, when you have to move buttons to make room for it, it's obscene. The 30D was ideal in size but not resolution.


Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here (external link). Cursing at your worse-than-a-map reflector? Check out this vid! (external link)

I wish my 40D's screen can have the same resolution as my nikon D80 -_-

3" is just as good as 2.5" for me. I only care about the histograms and make sure my composition was ok


Canon EOS 40D, 24-70 f/2.8 L, 70-200 f/4 L, 580 EX II, 430 EX
K110D -> K100D -> K10D -> D80 -> 40D

The LCD on the 40D is fine. I use it very seldom, mostly to check for a blown sky so that I can add a darker ND filter. Sometime I may check the histogram.
If I do look at the LCD on the 40 then I'm happy with the larger size.
