NYC - the structures

Some shots form my trip stateside this past week:

Long exposure here. I bounced about 8 580 flashes off the right tower there for some fill. Wife gave me wrong directions on the subway reaching this place. 5 hours, $8 in subway fees later I was back in the hotel and I had the shot. Brooklyn has some nice places and some not so nice places.

HOLY SMOKES that first shot is INCredIBle!!!!!!! I love the second one too! awesome! the wifey is going to be so happy with the pics for the walls!!!!!!

You bounced 8 flashes off the bridge? Are you serious? What did you have with you, a steamer trunk full of equipment? That's amazing.

Make sure you take me with you next time you're in the city. I'll do the driving and parallel parking (just ask Kathy) and you show me how to take shots like that. I'll even treat you to chinatown.

Second shot is great.......i think it is pace university.

1 flash pressed 8 times on full power during exposure. Not much, but it gives a hint of detail on the upper structure.

Awesome shots. Makes me want to go back for a visit. I used to live close to where you took the first shot near the Brooklyn Bridge.

That first shot rocks so HARD. Yes a tilt shift would of sealed the deal for sure. But still amazing nevertheless!
