I hope so. Otherwise it would really be pretty stupid.

By the way, their proofing seems to be a great deal. I was going to do Smugmug but then looked into their proofing when someone mentioned they do it.

Methinks he probably wants to charge more money by positioning "Tuscany" as a higher end brand. At that point I will switch to Zookbinders or Albumsunlimited for the more/nicer cover options. The Tuscany is really nice at its current price point. Add $50 to the price of the book and it is now competing with much nicer books.

Though I do like C2000's 2 day turnaround!

ugh, I just signed up with candid2000 for proofing and for that album. So that will be gone from there soon and you have to sign up somewhere else to get it? that sucks

what does this mean...? "gone from there soon"?

I don't think that separating Tuscany from Candid 2000 is meant to be a negative. He's said he's doing it because of the higher volume. I'd considered Zookbinders but with my learning disability (ADD), I can't wrap my head around the directions on their website. I know that sounds really dumb, but it's true. Candid 2000 keeps it simple and has live chat customer service in case I don't understand something. And you can't beat the turnaround time. :)

I think I can relate to you Liza. I also have ADD and love the simplicity of Candid2000's process. I looked into Zookbinders, and what I got of the process turned me off to them. I love simple and easy.

For the record, it's not an intellectual issue for me, but rather a processing deficit. I'm also a whole-to-part thinker, rather than part-to-whole like most people, so I'm finding some of the instructions baffling.

And it's nice to know I'm not alone, Bill. :)

How about Pictobooks in Rockville, MD? Absolutely a great album. No gutters and great quality. I know they have a patent on their process of making the spread the page. All the books are hand made. I have seen one at a wedding show and loved it. I have laid out my spreads and am sending in for the prints next week. After I get them back I will send it to Picto and they will bind them for me. They do also offer printing if you want them to do it. Might want to give them a look. I do know they also have smaller albums for like the parents, and really small ones for the bride to keep in her purse.

40D, 20D, 24-105 4.0L, 24 2.8, 70-200 2.8L, 18-55 kit lens, 2 x 430ex's, way too many extras to list and even more that I need

Jamie, I must say I like the AlbumsUnlimited's offer on Kingston flush mounts. I went to their shop, since they are local for me and saw some demos. It's just their turnaround time is quite long, like 3wks. They have bay photo to print the photos for them and then they bind for you at the shop then u can go pick up. So i'm still waiting for my first sample...

humm.. gotta look into pictobook. though i really like graphis and vision art, guess i'll check into pictobook as well to see. how's pictobooks turnaround leadtime? and how's their print quality?

Does anyone have a comparison between vision art and pictobook?

EDIT: holy cow.. pictobook is bank! i might as well make a album instead.

If memory serves me correctly, they were rather pricey. Good product, though.
