Having seen what the cameras are capable of, I'd buy Pentax before Sony...His camera is not capable of anything at all. On the other hand his photography might be fairly good. But I can guarantee you his results would be the same using an Olympus a Sony or a Nikon. There are some Pentax forums around. The best way to find them is through the Pentaxian website.
