I have a feeling there will be quite a few people who'd be interested in a 3 day weekend in Vermont for some skiing or snowboarding. I'm going to be going up there anyways so I figured I'd just throw the deal out to all and have an open invite.

$99 All "Inn-Clusive" Winter Package

Includes Lodging, Rentals, Lift Tickets, Breakfast and Lunch.
$99 per person, per night*
  • Includes Lodging at The Inn at Stratton Mountain
  • Lift Ticket for each adult
  • Downhill Equipment Rentals
  • Breakfast AND Lunch!
  • Must book by Dec 19, 2007
Available any time from 11/25/07 to 12/20/07 and 3/23/08 to 4/13/08, and select midweek dates during January and March

*Note: $99 per person, per night is based upon 2 adults
Two night minimum, based on double occupancy. Plus tax and service, cannot be combined with other offers. Subject to availability. The Inn at Stratton Mountain only. Some restrictions apply. Available any time from 11/25/07 - 12/20/07 and 3/23/08 - 4/13/08 and midweek dates (Sun-Thu) January 1-3, January 6-10, January 13-17, January 21-24, January 27-31, February 3-7, February 24-28, March 2-6, March 9-13.

This is the deal that they are running right now and it's quite worth it. I've been to Stratton before and it's a great time. I'm thinking of sometime in February or March but we can all workout a date.

That sounds like a great deal! I'll run the idea by Sébastien and see if he'd like to go! I am not an experienced skier, but there is always a time to learn :). And it would be great to see you and Kristen again! I'll keep in touch about this...

Being that the last meet was also in the eastern U.S., it might be nice to have one in the western side of the continent to allow everyone to opportunity to participate in at least one of the meets.

Jen, like I said in my post...I'm going whether or not anyone goes with me. I'm not even going to consider it an official meet.

I just threw out those two months, I tend to enjoy March the best for a little Spring riding.

If we go, it would be 4 of us and we'd fly there. Get a date and let me see what I can do. Where is the nearest airport?

It's about an 9 hour ride by car.

Ohhh, I would love to come this time. I live about 30 minutes from Stratton but I can honestly say I haven't been on skis since I was 6. Hmmm. I'd better leave that to the more experienced. I'll sit by the fire and drink hot chocolate. Yeah, that's it!
