The December issue of Digital Photo magazine (a UK publication) contains a group review of what they call 'mid-price DSLRs. The group test includes the Canon 40D, Fuji Finepix S5 Pro, Nikon D200, Panasonic L10 and Sony 700. Guess which camera came out top (by quite a margin, it appears)?

Sorry for not mentioning it - I thought you'd guess. It was the 40D, by quite a margin.

Not surprising, I think. :)

Is there somewhere online those of us outside the UK could read the article?

I could have told you that and save you some time reading the article. :)

I've been doing some investigating. The magazine does have a web site but the review is not published on it - I suppose they want you to buy the magazine instead. The web page is at http://www.photographymags.co.uk …age&view_resource=3399878 (external link)

Many downtown news stands at most major cities in the US carries this magazine :) It's a bit pricey though...giving the US dollar. LOL.

Here, it's £4.99 - what is it in the US?

I saw it at a Borders Books and Music. It's around $12.99 US. Too expensive IMO

Borders usually carries this magazine, at least in my area but likely if one has it, they all should. Maybe Borders online?

In Time Magazine, the 40D also was top rated and suggested for Christmas shoppers.
