Looking for some people that have attended wppi and would like to know their experiences. I was just looking at the website for wppi and didn't really see the value in attending. So please share your experiences, what you gained or learned from attending. Also, I couldn't find a cost on their website - anyone know how much it is? I am interested in going if it would be beneficial so please help me out if you have the goods to share.

i think it's $550 per person or something like that. Many ppl find it very helpful. I was debating if I should go or not too.

I have gone every year for the past 4 years to the trade show after I moved here to Las Vegas. It is so easy for me because I live here in town and so many companies give free trade show passes. I find it very useful every year to take a day off from work to go to the trade show. It is a great place to see new products and if you are looking to buy stuff you get some deals as most companies will discount their stuff at the show. On the last day of show you can possibly get really great deals on stuff they have left over so they don't have to ship it back to there warehouse. Another benefit is a lot of manufactures are trying to sell their products give "classes" on their products or equipment. It was a awesome way to see Monte Zucker (he was such a master craftsman) explaining how to light portraits at the Canon booth and it didn't cost a cent. I also enjoy looking at the prints they have displayed from the annual print competition.

I've been there every year for the past five years. There's a bunch of great seminars and the trade show gets bigger and bigger every year. I've also made a lot of connections with photographers and trade people there. I don't know if they've posted the speaker lineup yet, but I'll be teaching two master classes. I wouldn't bother if I didn't think that it was worth it.
