Do you mean for skin issues? Digital Gem is good.

Would help if you explained what you require in a little more detail (give some examples maybe?)

I think the OP means what general things would you do to touch up the picture.

I think my workflow for something like that would just be a basic blemish removal, a very mild skin softening - maybe even none depending on the person, and then a high pass sharpen.

I sometimes laugh at how lazy some people are (external link).

Yup.... and here's an action I created last year for it... I didn't check it, but I think it works correctly. I believe I gave props... apologize if I did not... it's been a while since I've used it.

edit: if it's the same one in my folder at the moment, it works fine. Just follow the instructions/prompts. ;)

How do you install it and what does it actually do?

Sorry... it's a PhotoShop (CS2) action. It (unzipped) goes into the "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Presets\Photoshop Actions" folder. For more info on how to load and use actions, simply Google it (external link). ;)

Actions are good, but I still prefer Digital Gem (thanks for the links, amonline ~g). I think its one of the most useful, and most used, plug-in I have purchased. And I have purchased a lot of plug-ins. Note to self: do not have credit card in arms reach late at night!danger!
