QUOTED IMAGE

I'd say they were copying a bit. But for $500 its actually a decent bike. Much better than the fuji bikes that were up to like $800ish.

Very good looking ride.

What components does it have?

Headset: FSA IS-2 1-1/8" Integrated
Bottom Bracket: FSA Giga X Pipe
Crankset: FSA Elita Compact; 50/36T alloy/steel rings
Pedals: Wellgo Clipless
Chain: KMC DX 10
Saddle: Selle San Macro SKN
Seatpost: 2014 Alloy
Hubs: Shimano WH-R500 Wheelset
Front Derailleur: Shimano 105
Rear Derailleur: Shimano 105
Shifters: Shimano 105 STI

Brakes: Tektro
Brake Levers: Shimano 105 STI
Rims: Shimano WH-R500 Wheelset

Tires: Vittoria Zaffiro 700x23

As quoted by manufacturer. It's a 2006 model that I picked up in Summer 2007 for $500 shipped I believe. Needs a lot of work now from neglect though. I'm going to be working on that in the next few weeks to get back on the road.

how quick are those e46 non m3s compared to lets say a civic si/tC (some kind of import w/ 170-200hp). stock for stock.

ive always wanted a bmw but i always hear how expensive it is with maintaining one. id love to get an e30 and deck it all out with a rebuilt motor.

think of it this way for expenses....

They don't sell nearly as many as say hondas and just consider the prices of honda parts are certainly not cheap by any means..... the rarer the part means the higher the price.

Chevy parts FTW! plus I get parts at 10% over cost so yeah.....

A stock non-M E46 will easily beat your standard Civic Si, Scion, etc. to 60, and in the quarter mile. It'll also get you more tail .
