what is it?

Oh! That it!
It is a Diahatsu L58HVZ Delta hi top.
They are a badge engineered Toyota Dyna. Mines a 1990 ex Telecom unit, got it 1993 from the auctions. I converted the ladder racks on the roof with deck tread to make a shooting deck, which can also hold a tent, so guests have have the down stairs.(down ladder, actually). It can tow 5 tonne, and has a good sound system, mp3 with 15 inch Peavey bass bin, portable stove , water, dive stuff, camera stuff etc.
It works!:D

HEY! HO!
LETS GO!

I was hoping there'd be shag carpet on the ceiling... Still, pimp-mobile!

here's one of mine. Since this shot, I have replaced the BMW top case with an aluminum one that matches the side panniers. I also carry a Canon S3 in a tank bag for those "quick draw" shots.

This is another one of mine. A loaded Lowepro Stealth Reporter D550 AW fits perfectly in the trunk!

Here's my car back in '06 on my longest solo roadtrip (2400km in 4 days). I took this shot out in the vineyards on my last day. I kinda wish I took more shots of my car, as it might be a possible writeoff after my accident last week.

Great shot, how long was that exposure (wondering about those star lights).

Hello All! First time post, long time lurker. I recently switched camps as of a few days ago with my new arrival(s), 40D/17-55, I figured this is a good place to introduce myself and my ride - '68 911L - slightly modified ;). Please forgive the fact that the pics were taken with my Nikon D50.
BTW, really impressed by the talent on this board. I've got a lot of you guys bookmarked.

Depends - do you guys have to wear helmets over there?

If so, mine comes in hands down. More storage area, wind-in-your-hair experience, and I'll take you up a twisty mountain road any day! :D
