I just got some new wheels for my RS7, so I went out and took some new pics.

I am not a fan of the Audi 7's....but that one is clean and well done...and makes a nice case for those cars.

Thanks. I was actually not a fan either. When I moved to Korea, I first bought an A6 because I didn't like the shape of the 7's. Given my history of high powered cars, I quickly got bored of the A6, and traded it in for the RS7. I would have gotten an RS6 if they were available here, but the lines of the 7 have grown on me, and I love it now.

Nice ride, but there are way too many bad reflections in the body for me. Look at the "Tips" link in my Sig, and...

Thanks. Yes, I am learning. I just got my setup a few weeks ago, and am learning by tinkering. Automotive is all I am really interested at the moment. That and my cat....

Need to get a circular polarizer pronto!

Actually, I don't usually use one. What you really need is a better location.

And I think I said that last time you posted, too. lol

personally...its just the rear window slope behind the rear doors, and what isn't seen in profile is the way it looks from the rear with that window...just doesn't appeal to me...its just my opinion...

i agree there too. Was just testing as I liked the road through the trees.

I have more photos, that was just the one I had spent time on editing, then my NAS crashed. Working on retrieving them as we speak.

Don't not get a CPL because Frank usually doesn't use one, though. They are great for automotive photography, among other things.

True, they can be useful. I find with cars though, what you gain in one area you lose in another area, & they wouldn't have helped in that image which is what Derek seemed to be thinking.

I think the "4-door coupe" styling (e.g., Audi A/S/RS7, Mercedes CLS, and maybe even the BMW Gran Coupe) can be a little polarizing. Most people seem to love it, and the cars typically cost more than identically equipped, "traditional" sedans, just because of the styling. But the people who dislike it seem to really dislike it.

I always loved traditional euro sedan styling, particularly the boxy shapes of E30 BMWs. But the 4 door coupe styling has definitely grown on me in recent years, enough so that I got the RS7.

maybe its that they call it a 4 door coupe...maybe that is where they loose me! That really makes no sense in my head...a 4 door coupe...anyway, cool car, best looking one I have seen for sure.

I always thought technically a coupe was lacking a B pillar. I guess it has more to dow with the shape/styling than anything these days.

The car I miss the most. Snapped nearly 8 years ago.

Saabaru, as of about 4.5 hours ago. The EP3 in the back is also mine.
