I apologize for the quality of the photo, it was taken with a Canon S3IS, it was the only camera I had with me at the moment.

Looks like your focus was off. Are you sure that it was the cameras fault?

:-) Yeah, unfortunately the S3IS is pretty much all automatic. It says it has manual modes but, I was never successful with the manual modes so, I always leave it in Auto.

Got my Spitfire back on the road a week or so back after the winter where I rebuilt the carbs and then had a right game getting them setup and the engine running right. But with a bit of help from a friend with a lot more experience, got it working - then took a decent run out to clear all the rubbish out of the engine and another tune, to get it running really well.

Only a snap with my iPhone - and it starting to drizzle a bit too! My eldest is sat in the passenger seat.

It's nice to see it on the road! I raced a Mk II for ten years.

Not sure she would like to be called a child these days - she is 19 in a month

But I get the principle! Yes they seem to like it which is good - though it primarily for me and the missus to go away for the odd weekend - and to generally enjoy and tinker!

Not going to race mine as its not an expense I want to afford (To many other things to spend money on! - but can see the appeal as I enjoy taking photo's of racing cars and classics!

Thanks.

Unfortunately the Speed Triple is going next month.

I would have liked to keep it for a few more years, it's only done 6k. miles, but a friend has decided he's having it!

I need the space anyway but I do have a Tiger 1050 and a 1973 Tiger 750 as well as a couple of other machines. None of which I ride as often as I should.
