Wow, this page is great! I love Esprits, but I imagine they're like boats - better to have friends that own them. Otherwise, they certainly are a pleasure just to look at. FD - I've always wanted one. So cool. LSB M3, my 2nd favorite color only to Imola. On my list. I also love tractors though I know very little about them. My dad has a New Holland that I drive often.

Yep I had the money for one second hand of course but with a good history, what stopped me was the need for a full service set up moving forward from when I would get her - so I bailed out.

Oh and the insurance of course I was quoted £2000 basic.

Still regret it this day.

My dad nearly bought one in the 80's. He ended up with a 300zx turbo. '87 I believe.

Haha, I had it made. Only people under the age of 40 or so could read it. Lol.

I still think it's one of the best cars ever made. '87 325is. 2.5 I6, 5s speed, LSD, Firestone Winterforce tires. Back from '08 when I lived at my parents house. We got something like 16" of snow that day and the snowblower was out of gas. My DD, the BMW had a busted-ass transmission. 2nd gear wouldn't work, and I couldn't get it into reverse... Mom and Dad's Corolla was buried under about 12" at the time, and was worthless in the snow anyhow. All the other Family cars were gone at the time. My other car was a 240sx with 450hp and baaaaald summer tires. So I took the BMW and didn't stop until I got to the pump - blew through all the stop signs and red lights. Without 2nd or reverse I couldn't afford to lose momentum. Well I made it, and it was awesome. I will get another one someday.

They hadn't gotten the plow trucks out yet.

Yes CLK 320. Fun car to drive. Would like to upgrade, I think a AMG CLK would be a lot of fun also.

Most certainly. I can't help remembering that the CLK AMG models were a bit less potent than the others. Maybe I'm wrong. I know it shares much from the W210 (the front end). I know the W210 E55 was N/A, but it's still one of my favorites! The only AMG I've ever driven was a W220 S55. A muscle car in an a grown-up body. I love AMG.
