My Grandfather, a keen photographer, posing with two of his daughters c1918. The original picture was a small contact print and he was experimenting with 'Johnson's Photo Tints' for colouring. I scanned the picture as 'grey scale' and to my surprise it ignored the colours - because they were transparent and gave me workable image. I took off the plastic wheel covers and stored them for whenever I do a long highway drive. For city driving, they only make the wheels look ugly. Underneath is this nice alloy wheel.
