I haven't posted here in quite a while. I recently picked up a 2nd DSM. This is near stock and will retain A/C and cruise control. It will serve as the nice weekend car while my other DSM will continue to be the focus of heavier modification.

Nov 08, 2020 15:45 | #9092 I just set the idle / base timing good enough to take it to storage tomorrow. It has 4-5 months worth of dirt on it in the picture.

Insurance totaled the truck due to water inside the vehicle. After Christmas I will be looking for a replacement - FJ Cruiser, GX470 or another 4th gen with a V8. I'm getting very antsy to get back on the road....! -Dane

I have been dreaming of a camping rig like that...not sure I can bring myself to sell the Mustang just yet, but I really have acquired a desire to be off grid more and camp more. Yup, the 3rd 'little puddle' was about 4' deep in the middle. Got stuck, went for help and found 5-6" of water in the passenger footwell. Pulled it out and drove it 7.5 hours home with it stuck in 4wd. Unfortunately 2 cameras were in a bag on the floor there. They didn't make it either, lol. Fuji X100F and Minolta X-700. I was on the road for 2 weeks on that particular trip (photo in previous post was from Florida). I miss being on the road and hopefully will be again early next year. I bought the tent in mid August and I've logged 57 nights in it! Mustangs are fun - my dad has two of them. This was my first truck and I am hooked. 4x4 changes the game. The sense of freedom grows exponentially when you've got 4 wheel drive. Even just a decent set of tires gets me places my lowered cars couldn't dream of going, haha. Wherever you can park, you can sleep. -Dane
