Thank you Lee. All in all I've enjoyed my life to date and hope to for a good while yet mate!

The number of times I've had car stuff in the house in the distant past, under the stairs with panels, front suspension, welder, toolboxes, rebuilding twin Weber carbs on the kitchen table..... :-D:lol::-P

EDIT - Perhaps that's why I have an ex-SWMBO too......! :p

No car parts these daze, or the lovely smell of polyester resin in the house at the moment, but just a 5 foot long fuselage on the dining table and two 5 1/2 foot wings in the lounge. Well I can't go out in to the cold store room where I normally build my models! I'm too delicate to get cold

I never have any problems with the dishwasher. If I do then I just shout at her and she carries on

My ambition for a good while is to grow old disgracefully. So far my wife tells me that I am doing really well!

Thank you SM. This is a full size replica and a beauty. It's the colour scheme I intend to use too.

Edit : - Something that really amases me is that it was designed and built in 1936 to do a display at the Berlin Olympics. It was the worlds first fully aerobatic glider and the main spar, made of wood, was stressed to 12G positive and 9G negative!

Wow!
The real version looks huge!

I'm totally intrigued with it, are you building it from a model or from scratch? I used to know a couple guys in California that would build powered jet remote control aircraft from scratch.

It's the G loading capability that fascinates me.

Nice setup with the tent. You must be able to rock yourself to sleep up there.

Thanks, it's been working out well. Haha, it's more stable than it looks. I will say that after a couple of weeks on the road, it's hard to sleep inside again...!
