You can assume the people who have said "great work" are blind. It's not great work, I find it quite ugly, and there's no way i'd show it to a customer. The photos are decent enough, but very formal mostly. .

I just needed to drop in and see why everyone says the wedding forum is full of pompous *******s. I mean wow I have seen a lot of rude arrogant nonsense here but that takes the cake. That was by far the rudest unhelpful bit of blabber I have ever heard. Were you trying to help the OP or just make yourself seem human? You failed on both parts. It all makes sense now, carry on.

Just came back from a meeting with a bride, and I did show these sample pages, you know what she absolutely LOVED it everything about it. I booked the wedding and the flush mount album design and also a duplicate book for her mother. I guess it wasn't that bad after all.:D

That may be because you took good photos, rather than because of your album design. I do think the album could be massively improved with those few simple changes I suggested. Also don't try to cram too much in, my albums have an average of 2-3 images per page - some full page, some pages have a dozen images.

And we're trying to be more friendly, which i'm working on as well. Sometimes the comments that people make around here stagger me - n00bs posting "great pics" or "great album" when it's clearly not.

Tim I have to admit that I was a bit confused by your comment, I also took it as my photography was not great.? I am not sure what was meant. I know some of the pages are somewhat busy....I am no photoshop guru by all means, and I did design a few pages like the bouquet page with the couple off to the side and the cake page, so far family and friends and even co- workers loved the pages, I understand what you mean by the fancy border on some of the images, I don't quite care for that as well and may change that to a simple stroke image. I do feel that my photography is good, you notice I did not say great since there is always room for improvement, as well as learning new techniques. Yes I did look at some of your images as well you need to turn the bride inward on quite a few lol....

Thanks for the critique.

I didn't comment much on your photos, but from the first 8 pages i'd say it was tradition and solid. My comments were all on your album design. You're welcome to critique my images, though please do it in the critique threads I post and give me clear feedback, the comment above I don't entirely understand.
