Is the SD870 IS a decent camera?

Hi,

I have been using an SD 550 for a few years but I was looking at the new SD 870 IS for its wide angle lens and IS. How good a camera is it? My SD 550 took great shots... but I could have used the IS.

I am also considering a G9... but I am used to the smaller form factor of the SD's... I like taking street photos....

Any SD 870 users care to advise me?

Sorry this is so out of date compared to the post, but it may help someone else with the same question. I've had my SD870 now since Christmas and love it. The size is extremely handy to slip into a pocket, the LCD screen is large, clear and bright, and the pictures are pretty consistantly good. Bright light is best, but due to the relatively small lens (compared to my 30D), pictures taken in low light are very grainy. The IS is great.
